Imprinted concrete sealing

Because of its durability, imprinted concrete is frequently selected by homeowners in Wiltshire as the preferred surface for their driveway or patio.

When it is first laid the surface is sealed with imprinted concrete sealer to protect it and make it look more appealing by giving the concrete a 'wet look' appearance. The concrete sealer helps to slow down deterioration from from wear and tear and helps to prevent any loss of colour from UV light. The sealer will also help to slow down the growth of algae and moss on the concrete.

To keep the imprinted concrete in optimum condition, it is recommended to re-apply a coat of sealer every 4-5 years. If this is not done it could result in higher mainteannce costs over the longer term.
